Party in the USA!…Well, We Mean Nepal

Our final work day at project site #1, the local federal school, was finally here. After hours of moving heavy stones and bricks to create a new classroom building, as well as giving our all while teaching English to different grade levels, it was time to say goodbye. And just as we were blown away by the kindness and excitement and enthusiasm for our arrival last week, we were just as impressed with the farewell ceremony.

The only downside? Realizing that the Nepali school children are better at dancing than we are! Haha!

In the name of cultural exchange, we just had to say “goodbye” with a performance of our own. Our trusty team leaders Eva and Stella did an awesome job rallying the group for this astounding production. Check us out!

More updates to come as we continue to round out the service portion of our program and gear up for the Annapurna circuit trek next week! ?
